Magic Posters

Here are two magic posters, one is for SAM Assembly 291 and the other is for a show that IBM Ring 21 performed at several years ago. I really enjoyed coming up with the design and making the final posters.

MagicToons

Several years ago, I was inspired by an artist named Nelson Hahne who has made tons of illustrations and cartoons for various magic books and magazines. I found his work in a box of old Linking Ring magazines and came up with my own one panel cartoon called "MagicToons", about the funny side of magic for magicians and their assistants.

After I had a good amount of cartoons completed, I contacted the present day Linking Ring and submitted my work to the editor at the time,Phil Wilmarth. He liked my cartoons and agreed to publish them every month for several years. I wasn't paid a thing and at the time, I was using it as a test to see if I could generate more material as well as find my own cartoon style.

Here are a collection I made for the 2010 Magictoons calendar which sold this year through Zazzle.com. If you like them, let me know what you think.

An Introduction

This is a blog where art and magic meet. I hope to create a magical outlet where others interested in magic as well as art, can come to learn a few new tricks, post magical findings, learn from the past and invent the future.
